If Only...
If only we could tell her,
Of how we miss her so,
If only we could tell her,
The hurt will never go.
If only we could go back,
Before that sad, sad, day.
But what would we change?
What would we ever say?
If only we could show her,
The flowers when they start,
We made for her a garden,
In the shape of a heart.
If only she could realize,
We hold her deep inside,
The beauty of life surrounds us,
Because she is, our eyes.
If only in her life, to see,
How close her family came to be,
It was her wish from above,
Because she gave us the gift of love.

what would you have said?
not a word would be changed
for tis of a mother you speak.
the words you speak are the words of every son, of every daughter.
for tis of a mother you speak.
tis not words she did not hear but the love within you she saw.
her heart knew what words could not say
her heart knew the words unspoken.
for tis a of a mother you speak.
love needs no words, love asks of nothing more for the love of a mother, tho unspoken, cries from the heart.
so, cry not of the words unspoken, cry not of the words left unsaid.
if there be tears, if there be sadness, let them fall of what you know.
for, tis of a mother for whom they be. tis the tears of love. for, tis the tears of joy that a mother be known.
