This blog started as a place to write and grieve after the loss of my mother. What it has become is a place to celebrate life. Our family grows, as does our family and friends who visit here. This is in Memory Of Our Mother...And only love exists here ~Doris May~ March 25,2006

I wasn't sure where to post this. Memories, friends, family... who knows. All I know is... I was asked to go to a get together at a friends house for Saturday. With my schedule, yup, it's hard, Why is it hard? I don't know. I guess I have to get "everything" done. I have been trying to spend more time with family and friends, just seems like something comes up all the time. hmmmm.. so, my friend Karen, whom I have become good friends with over the years, is having a friend get-together. Did I want to go at first? nope. Why? Too much to do. Well, let me tell you something. :-) after hearing of a death of a co-worker, from where my mom, brother and I use to work, I said "F" IT! I'm going to see my friends. I dont' care if the laundry gets done, I dont' care if I ride one of my horses. I don't care if I don't weed my flower garden (that needs to be weed wacked now! LOL) I dont' care. I'm going to see my friends! So, I bought some goodies, and no matter what, I'm going to go see my friend Karen. She is always making time to see me, so I think it's my turn. Every feel like that? I thought I would write on my Aunt's blog of my thoughts. Don't put off seeing someone you care about because you have laundry, cleaning, or whatever else... to do. Just say "F" it, (Thanks mom for that saying!) and go do what you want. Life moves pretty fast, as Ferris Bueler (SP?) says... in the movie... do and see what you can today... cause you might not be able to tomorrow. Thanks Opal, for posting this blog.
Kimmy,
As I wrote to you in email, Your words give an important message...something like "stop and take time to smell the roses"...."enjoy the moment..seize the moment"....."a day at a time"...Your words say a lot here.
Thank you for writing them
